Research Feed and Searches

PaprFeed shows public research metadata from arXiv, bioRxiv, medRxiv, and PubMed. Searches are sent through the app's Cloudflare proxy and then to the selected research services so the feed can load reliably. Search terms and technical request metadata are therefore processed by Cloudflare and the selected research service.

Audience Measurement

PaprFeed uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate visits, page views, referral sources, countries, browsers, and page performance. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage for measurement, does not fingerprint individual visitors, and does not collect or use visitors' personal data. PaprFeed does not use analytics to build advertising profiles.

Saved Papers

If you are not signed in, saved papers, hidden papers, recent searches, onboarding choices, and feed settings stay in this browser. If you sign in with Google, saved-paper records are synced to Supabase so they can appear on your other devices. Hidden papers, recent searches, and feed settings are not synced.

Login

Google login is handled by Supabase and Google. PaprFeed does not receive or store your Google password. Supabase stores the authentication account needed for sign-in, which can include your Google account ID, email address, basic profile information, session data, and login timestamps.

Sharing and Opening Papers

When you open a paper, use a DOI link, or share through another app, the destination service or app processes that action under its own privacy policy.

Deleting Data

You can remove saved papers in PaprFeed. You can clear other local data by clearing this site's browser data. If you want your Supabase authentication account and all cloud-synced saved-paper data deleted, contact the app owner from the place where PaprFeed was shared with you.
